Who We Are – A Partnership to Support LO Seniors
Lake Oswego Meal Network Advisory Board: We are a non-profit 503(c)3 organization dedicated to ensuring that the funds are available for Meals on Wheels and its supplementary programs. As a group of community members, we work with the Adult Community Center and the City of Lake Oswego in partnership so that no senior in our community is hungry or lives in isolation.
We bring businesses, organizations, and individuals “to the table” to support the Meals on Wheels programs through contributions, sponsorships, grants, and fund raising events and activities.
Our Mission: To enrich the lives of seniors and disabled residents, including those who are housebound, and to assist them in maintaining their independence by providing nutritious meals in a positive social environment.
Lake Oswego Adult Community Center: Meals on Wheels is managed by, and housed at, the Lake Oswego Adult Community Center, a facility of the City of Lake Oswego. (link to websites)
Our partnership works to provide a meal program that is community- based, emphasizes volunteer involvement, serves nutritious meals, and is financially sound.
