Lake Oswego Meals on Wheels

We are dedicated to ensuring that seniors and people with disabilities in our community have access to healthy meals and social interaction.

Community outreach and promotion of the program are important aspects of the Meals on Wheels Board.

Meals are provided through the Lake Oswego Adult Community Center. Volunteers provide home delivery of meals three times a week.

The Lake Oswego Meals on Wheels Board brings businesses, organizations, and individuals “to the table” to support meal programs through contributions, sponsorships, grants, and fundraising events and activities.

Our Mission: To enrich the lives of seniors and disabled residents, including those who are housebound, and to assist them in maintaining their independence by providing nutritious meals in a positive social environment.

The Goals of the Board are:

  • to defray the costs of the meal program by fundraising the deficit between the contributions of patrons and actual costs,
  • to evaluate and provide program feedback, and
  • to help promote the program

We work to provide a meal program that is community- based, emphasizes volunteer involvement, serves nutritious meals, and is financial sound.
