The Lake Oswego Academy of Dance, under the leadership of Beckie Ware and staff, collaborated on a highly successful fundraiser with Lake Oswego Meals on Wheels Board. Sunday, June 5rd, more than 1,000 parents, kids, grandkids, loved ones, and relatives came to the Lake Oswego Adult Community Center to see hourly recitals showcasing the skills of young, talented dancers performing tap, ballet, jazz and hip hop. Suggested donation of admission to the recital of $4, plus sales of raffle tickets, made $7,100 in just one day.

Lake Oswego Academy of Dance-Fundraiser
The 5th Annual Spring Fundraiser was held on Sunday, June 5, 2016. All fundraiser proceeds go to the Lake Oswego Meal Network, Lake Oswego’s very own, Meals-On-Wheels program.
The Lake Oswego Meal Network provides the only senior meal program in Lake Oswego, including the Meals-on-Wheels delivery of hot meals and the service of meals in the LO Adult Community Center dining room. All meals are prepared on site from scratch, using strict nutritional standards. In 2015, the program served over 20,000 meals to senior and homebound residents of Lake Oswego.
One of our fundraiser highlights is the drawing for gift baskets filled with donations from our local business community.
